Using the service
You may use SecretShare to deliver lawful text and files that you are authorized to possess and share. The service encrypts content in the browser, temporarily stores ciphertext, and makes a record available for one confirmed retrieval or until expiry.
Your responsibilities
Verify the recipient, choose an appropriate expiry, protect the complete link, share any optional passphrase separately, and rotate credentials when risk warrants it. Deletion from SecretShare cannot delete recipient copies, screenshots, clipboard history, or other channels.
Acceptable use
Do not distribute malware, stolen credentials, unlawful material, harassment, phishing, unauthorized-access instructions, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not disrupt the service, evade limits, probe systems without authorization, or use automated traffic that degrades availability.
Availability and deletion
SecretShare is provided without an availability guarantee. Network, browser, storage, or deployment failures may prevent creation or retrieval. Expired and consumed records are not recoverable through the product. Keep an appropriate source of truth for material that must not be lost.
Educational content
Guides provide general defensive-security information and are not legal, compliance, cryptographic-audit, or incident-response advice. You remain responsible for evaluating practices against your systems, risks, and obligations.
No warranty and limitation
The service and content are provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or protection against every threat. To the extent permitted by law, SecretShare is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use, inability to retrieve content, recipient conduct, or compromised endpoints.
